{"id":287,"date":"2017-11-17T13:52:19","date_gmt":"2017-11-17T12:52:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fondazionecampus.it\/?page_id=287"},"modified":"2025-07-14T11:06:25","modified_gmt":"2025-07-14T09:06:25","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.fondazionecampus.it\/en\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Fondazione Campus <\/strong>was established in 2006 with the aim of launching higher education programs in tourism and establishing a training hub for professionals working in private companies, public institutions, and Third Sector organizations in Lucca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With over 15 years of experience, Fondazione Campus has evolved into a center of excellence in university education, professional development, and research in the fields of Tourism and Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside its Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degree programs in Tourism &#8211; organized by the University of Pisa, the University of Pavia, and Universit\u00e0 della Svizzera Italiana (Lugano), in collaboration with Fondazione Campus, the Cassa di Risparmio Foundation, and the Municipality of Lucca \u2013 Fondazione Campus has launched a wide range of professional training initiatives. These include post-diploma ITS programs, postgraduate degree courses and Executive master&#8217;s programs developed with Touring Club Italiano (TCI), consolidating its identity as a true Tourism Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to tourism-focused courses, Fondazione Campus offers specialized programs in management, a School of Languages and Italian for Foreigners, a Research and Study Center, and a growing number of international programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A dedicated <strong>Career Service<\/strong> supports students with internships and job placement opportunities, offering tailored guidance to ease the transition into the workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What defines Fondazione Campus is a student-centered approach grounded in <strong>care, respect, and personalized attention<\/strong> &#8211; whether for university students, professionals, or executives participating in its diverse educational offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Campus Location<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading mt-0\"><strong>The Campus<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Fondazione Campus is located in the Tuscan hills, just a short walk from the historic center of Lucca.
